Chloe Ferber Fhotographi

“I always thought good photos were like good jokes. If you have to explain it, it just isn’t that good.”
–Anonymous
Chloe and I teamed up again… and it’s safe to say that I am beyond pleased with the pictures. Absolutely, way far past, to infinity and beyond, pleased. Chloe knows how to work it behind those little lenses of hers.

Here’s what she says about her photography, “Photography for me is less of a business than it is an art form… I try to capture the personality of the people I photograph while maintaining a sense of professionalism and overall quality.” Based on Chloe’s recent photos, I think that it’s safe to say she’s progressing in this art form she loves so much.
It’s only been less than 3 weeks since my previous photo session with Chloe, but I had a hankering for some more pictures. Chloe, her lovely (& very handy) assistant for the day, Sarah, and I headed to this gorgeous abandoned house on the outskirts of town that I adore. That’s where all of this magic happened.  Thanks to these two girls for making me feel at ease while in front of the lens on a beautiful day.
I was trying to do something kind of Anthropologie-esque. Something you’d expect to see in one of their catalogs. A clean mix of vintage and modern styling in a beautiful, dreamy setting.  Perfect.
What do you think? That coral dress is a restyled vintage find. It was a size 18 and I cut all of the seams out, took in several inches, sewed it back together, and created some girlie details in the neckline. The black circle skirt was thifted in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Scored that vintage-inspired black bikini on the interweb after lusting over swimsuits a few weeks ago.
Much thanks to Chloe for all of her hard work (& for saying that I have amazing style!). These pictures have made my day and I’m so glad that I can hold onto them forever and reflect on these good memories.  Find Chloe Ferber Fhotographi on facebook or flickr to see more of her work and more photos from this shoot!  Be sure to tell her how awesome she is, too!
