St. Patrick's Day Parade

Such a busy weekend! Yesterday was the 31st annual Ocean City St. Patrick's Day parade. It was a hoot! A few of my friends and I marched in the parade, dressed as mermaids, hula girls, and other underwater creatures. There were about 50 different floats in the parade... businesses, groups, bands, clubs, etc.
We were supporting the Maryland Coastal Bays Program and the Surfrider Foundation. Such a great time! Everything worked out smoothly; we threw candy, cards, and stickers to the crowd as we walked down the street. Hopefully, this draws some extra people into these nonprofit organizations that offer so much to our coastal community.
After the parade, we did a little bit of Guinness drinking and hung out. It was a beautiful Saturday on the shore and so many of my friends were off of work and able to chillax. The Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day is one of the best days to get out, get dolled up, and gallivant around town.
May the luck of the Irish invade your community and provide a reason to gather with your friends!

Xoxo,
Ami
