Riverwalk Park

Drove into Salisbury yesterday and did some thrift shopping! Scored lots of cute things at the local thift store, too. (I’ll post about them tomorrow!) I took Sandi, the labradoodle, with me. We stopped at the pet store so she could show off her new haircut (thanks to her scissor-savvy mother) and pick out some raw-hide treats.
Anyways, we went Riverwalk Park in downtown Salisbury to take a walk. The sun was shining all day and the temperature high was around 65 degrees... fantastic! The Salisbury River Walk is a nice walkway that follows the Wicomico River through the historic district of the city. The Wicomico River was once a major port in the Chesapeake Bay. Today, it's not a very active large-boat area but there usually are several big barges and tankers docked in town.
Salisbury is the largest city on the Eastern Shore. Hard to believe. Had a fun day adventuring with my little dog. She's the greatest companion ever and is always so excited to take trips around town with me.
Enjoy this pretty weather and wherever you may be!
