it's 'gonna be a bright, sunshiney day

First and foremost, I want to say hi to all of my new followers that came over after Amy's blog party yesterday! Isn't she the greatest for hosting such a fun event. I think we all have a few favorite new blogs that we'll all be following closely. I'm hoping that's why you're here on Little Miss Lovely!

I was in a pretty chipper mood today. Things have been quite chaotic in my life lately, and it's only getting crazier around here. I've been working on making some career changes over the past few months and it seems as though I'm in a place in my life where I need to make some decisions. I'm trying to make my future as bright and prosperous as I possible can. With that said, if you know of anyone hiring, hook a girl up! ;)
This fun pictures are from one of my favorite litle spots. Every July these giant sunflowers pop up on the backroads of the Eastern Shore and by mid-July, they have a sign that says "Free Sunflowers" next to them. So pretty and so thoughtful! By August, these little babies are nothing but brown, dried out stubbs. For the past 3 years I've made it a point to snag as many of these flowers in July as I possibly can. There are sunflowers in vases all over my house.
They're absolutely one of my favorites. I thought it'd be nice to share some photos of this free flower field with you since some of you aren't living in 'my neck of the woods'. Now, you can enjoy them, too. (I know, I know, it's not quite the same.)
Thanks again for coming over to Little Miss Lovely and checking out my blog. It's so nice to know that their are other bloggers out there that enjoy the same things I do and find my daily muses interesting. You are all the best blog friends a girl could have!
p.s. That cute coral dress was supposed to be a gift to my sister on her birthday last week. It was too small for her, so I got it back. It's too big on me... hence that belt around my waist so it doesn't look like a tent. I picked it up at the thrift store for only $5.50, but it's originally from Urban. Sweet, right? Wish my sister could have enjoyed it though. Oh well. Score for me!
