While cleaning out my filing cabinet last week, I found a folder that was bursting with inspiration. In fact, that green file folder was labeled "Future Home Inspiration". Quite fitting. I've been tearing home design pages out of magazines, catalogs, and newspapers for years now. I've got a heft collection of torn pictures in this folder. Usually, I hate weeding through my filing cabinet. This folder made for a nice detour in the decluttering department. Here's some of the shreds from the folder:
Pretty cool, right? It's neat to see the assortment of images I've saved. They all seem to be of a similar style even though their dates range from '04 to the present. Apparently I want my future home to look like a real-life doll house.
I'm going to share some of these future home inspiration with you on this blog. I thought it'd be a cool little topic. I'm not sure where any of these photos came from. I just ripped 'em out of zines and such. Does anyone else save design photos they see in print? Also, as a warning, they will be a little grainy just because I've scanned them all onto my computer. Great ready for some pretty home decor! I'll be posting these cut-outs soon! Lets hope that I buy my future house sometime soon so that I can stop collecting all of these pictures. They take up a lot of room in my little cabinet!
