I just had to share this with someone! If you’re looking for kitschy places to stay while vacationing, like I was earlier tonight, this one might just become first on your list... Check out the Shell house!
This vacation rental property is located in Isla Mujeres, only 20 minutes from Cancun in Mexico. This giant sea shells sits directly on the beaches overlooking the Yucatan peninsula. There is a private pool, too. It looks like, based upon the reservation page of the Shell house’s website that the property is currently not up for rent. I wonder how much it costs to spend a week in a large sea shell? It’s like you’d be a hermit crab or something while inhabiting this place.
How architecturally awesome is this place?! 2 King bedrooms and 2 full baths. I’d love to meet whoever drew up the blueprints! Can you imagine? I thought places like this only existed in dream land. Anyway ready to plan an end-of-summer vacay with me? I say it’s about time to go on holiday!

This is SOO amazing!! Can you imagine telling someone where you live..you would say...you turn left and"Its the shell house on the left"...SO cool
