Whitehaven Ferry Road

I know nothing about this place... except that it's stunning.
The beautiful colors of this building caught my eye while rushing to catch the last ferry across the Wicomico River and into Whitehaven for the day. I knew that I only had 20 minutes to catch the ferry (a 45 minute drive via ferry or else I was stuck driving an hour and half around the peninsula) but stopped to take a few pictures of this place.

This building, I'm guessing it may have been a general store or shop of some sort at sometime, sits to the side of a 3-way intersection in Princess Anne, MD.
The paint colors are so pretty together and that door is so welcoming. Imagine what it looked like in it's glory days! I can picture tin CocaCola signs hanging above the door, an old ice machine outside, and a few metal chairs on the front stoop. Can't you?

I made it to the ferry terminal on time. Actually had a few minutes to spare and some neat new pictures of this snazzy place. If you know anything about this property, fill us in, please!
