Thank God it's Friday! I feel like this week has taken forever to get through. Maybe I've just been bogged down at work or really, really looking forward to my plans this weekend. Perhaps a combination of both.
The weather is supposed to be nice next week. Yesterday was sunny and warm. Today seems to be following the pattern, also. I stopped by Malibu's Surf Shop on the boardwalk yesterday to drop off a few things for work and hang out in the sunshine with the guys (& Stella, the shop puppy).
That's my friend, JT... in the Captain's chair... in the sunshine. Seems as though that chair is the best seat in the whole shop. It's an old boat bucket seat that I believe they pulled out of the ocean one day while paddleboarding.
I had to head back home to get ready for a fancy-schmancy dinner to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of a local non-profit group, the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association. I stopped by the Isle of Wight park and took a few pictures before rushing home.
Please excuse my dorky-ness in the above picture. I was a little giddy about the sunshine and the fact that I was wearing flip-flops outside for the first time this season.
I'm headed to Pennsylvania (yes, again!) this weekend... in a few hours, actually. Big plans, too. Exciting plans, none-the-less! I will keep you posted on all of this weekend’s activities. Enjoy your Friday, Saturday, Sunday!
