Birthdays

Three of my favorite personalities celebrate birthdays this week. I say personalities because two of these creatures are my pets.

My pretty cat, Slater, was born earlier this week exactly 3 years ago. I got him when he was dinky and only 3 weeks old. He's a handsome little fellow that loves to run around the neighborhood with me. Happy birthday, Slater!

Next up... Sandi! To be honest, it's not really her birthday - I don't know when her birthday actually is. I adopted my labradoodle from the Somerset Humane Society in Western Pennsylvania, last year on March 27th. I can't believe it's only been a year since I rescued her... Seems like she's been mine forever. I'm so thankful that she's mine and I found her. It was fate. The veterinarian says that she's about 2-3 years old. We're together practically all the time and I'm pretty sure she knows me better than anyone else. We'll just call this her birthday so she can celebrate, too. Happy birthday, Sandi!

Finally... It's my mother's birthday! She's helped shape who I am today. She's ultra supportive, an inspiration, and someone whom I will always admire. So thankful that she and I are so close. I can tell her anything. Love you, Mom! Happy birthday!
